I started Jorja because I couldn’t find the bag I needed.
My days in New York went from the subway to a boardroom to a workout to dinner, often without a stop at home in between. Every bag I owned was good at one of those things and wrong for the rest. The beautiful ones couldn’t take a beating. The practical ones looked like I’d given up.
As a former investment banker turned fashion strategist, I knew exactly what I wanted: one bag that could do all of it and still look like I’d chosen it on purpose.
That became Jorja. I launched it eight months pregnant with my daughter, which taught me more about what a bag needs to carry than anything else. Our bags are handmade in Tuscany from a nylon we chose because it’s light, it’s tough, and it looks better the more you use it. The shapes are simple on purpose. They’re meant to be carried every day, through every version of your day, for years.
